I often have random thoughts I would like to write somewhere…so I’ll put them here. Perhaps, I will be the only person who reads them, or perhaps twenty years from now my grandchildren will find these writings. Anyway, it is more for me than anyone else. I just want to jot a few things down.
About Me
An English diarist and naval administrator. I served as administrator of the Royal Navy and Member of Parliament. I had no maritime experience, but I rose to be the Chief Secretary to the Admiralty under both King Charles II and King James II through patronage, diligence, and my talent for administration.
