I DO NOT CONDONE ANY FOREIGN INTERFERENCE IN OUR DEMOCRACY…but, let’s talk.

The world celebrated the end of the Cold War with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the break up of the Soviet Union. Study our history and you will find the Cold War was more than occupying land, propping up puppet leaders in smaller countries and small proxy wars.

A large part was manipulating public opinion on both side, ours and theirs. It involved radio, newspapers, and funding groups to undermine the opposing governments within their own borders. What we are seeing with foreign use of social media is not new, it is just a different format…using the technology of the day.

The only way to defeat America is to cause hate and division within our country, and foreign interest are succeeding. They do not care if Republicans or Democrats win, they care about dividing the American people, and in that regard they seem to be succeeding.

One hundred and sixty years ago Abraham Lincoln said, “A house divided against itself, cannot stand.” He spoke those words about the circumstances of his time, but those words till having meaning today.

I am a Republican, but I am an American first and I will not hate my fellow citizen.
